Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue

COVID19 Protocol

We are operating on a limited intake. Based on the discretion of our board of directors, we are prioritizing animals who are in immediate danger.

We are still processing adoptions at this time!

We are not allowing applicants to enter the homes of foster parents. This makes it a bit more difficult for applicants to gauge the personality of animals before adopting, and we understand how that can be frustrating. To combat this, we are asking our fosters to send videos and/or detailed descriptions of the animal to the applicant.

While this isn’t perfect, we are hoping to iron out the process during the length of this pandemic.

All events are canceled until further notice.

We have unfortunately had no choice but to halt our TNR efforts and voucher program. This is due to the extreme pressure placed on our local veterinarians and the closure of our volume spay/neuter clinics.

We do and always need fosters!

We are looking for cat, dog, and bunny fosters.

Find an application here!

While our adoptions have understandably slowed down, we must continue to provide care for our animals in foster care! We have an urgent need for donations. Below is a wishlist full of items that can be donated at a time and location convenient for you, along with a list of donation links.
